Dr Dodge is the best vet there is! He is a tall guy with a heart of gold. He welcomes your pets in to his environment. He sits on the floor with them. I will always bring my pets to him.

We recently lost our dog of 13 years. We were unable to get him to Jasper Animal Hospital to find out what was wrong with him. Dr. Dodge, Dr. Space and their staff all having known our dog kept in contact via phone with us while we rushed him to a local vet. Even being over 2 hours away, and close to midnight, they were concerned for the condition of the dog and the next day, before knowing the dog did not recover during the night, called the vet and were sincerely saddened by our loss. Jasper Animal Hospital truly does care about their pets and owners.

The owners of Spork and their attorneys spread malicious lies about Jasper Animal Hospital. Spork, a 10 year old Dachshound with a record of attacking humans, was brought in for a dental cleaning. The owners did not tell the vet tech about Spork's history. Spork attacked the vet tech, severely maiming her in the face and mouth, requiring several plastic surgeries. Because the vet tech required hospitalization, the hospital reported the incident to the police, required by law. The vet tech decided to press charges because she wanted to prevent the dog from attacking others in the future. Jasper did not support the owners being charged but had no say in the matter. The owner's lawyers believed that by smearing the veternarian and his practice, that the vet tech would drop the charges, saying that the dog would be put down. That was a blatant lie as that had happened only once in seven years in the city. The owners lied to the judge about Sprok's history and was essentially put on

I am proud to admit that Jasper Animal Hospital is where I take all my pets for great care and service. Dr.’s Dodge, Space and Handley, have limitless knowledge about animals and sincerely care for the animals they see. Their technicians and all the support staff there treat you as family when you walk in, whether it is your first visit or you have been with them for years, you always know you will get the same treatment and care from the entire staff. This is the 'Best of the West" truly. You will find no greater vets in Colorado. You will find from the moment you walk in the door you are greeted and feel welcome from the front desk, the techs are friendly and helpfull and there are no words for the vets, briliant and loving are 2 words that come to mind. Their prices were very fair and in my case there were some testing that needed to happen on 'Miss Kitty' they gave me many diffrent options to fit my budget, they were not just out to get every pennie from me. Thank you to all the staff at Jasper for making me feel like part of your family!

This is the infamous Vet Clinic that filed charges against Spork the Dachshund. If you take your pet here, and your pet injures one of the employees during the examination because proper safety measures were not followed by the clinic staff, they will file criminal charges against you!Do yourself and your pet a big favor and go somewhere else.

Four years ago, I was introduced through one of the technicians at Jasper Animal Hospital to a kitten that had been rescued through the Recycled Critter Program, from that moment my heart was lost, and I adopted this poor tiny creature. In the first month of his life he almost died, I made a call to Dr. Dodge at 6:00pm and by 6:15pm he had my cat at the clinic. Four years later, and this cat has become the most important animal in my life. If not for Dr. Dodge and Jasper I wouldn’t have my beloved pet today. Since then I have discovered that Dr. Dodge is not only knowledgeable and terrific with pets, but he also involves himself with Grey Hound Rescue, as well as helping raise funds for other Animal Charities. The entire staff are always positive and genuinely care about their clients and the welfare of their pets. Not once have I felt that my concerns were not being taken seriously. The vets here may be fine...but where did they get a vet tech that does not know better than to put her face next to a petrified dog? I am sorry she was hurt...but she should have known and followed proper procedures...and now a dog may die because of this.
