Dr. Gabriel Dersam is a pediatric orthopedic surgeon with the regionâ??s only pediatric-focused orthopedic surgery practice caring for patients in the Lafayette and Lake Charles areas. His patient-centered, family focused approach to caring for Acadiana youth helps to foster trust and lasting relationships. He is well-versed in the diagnosis, treatment and management of bone fractures, club foot, hip dysplasia and cerebral palsy. Dr. Dersam earned a medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine before completing a residency at the University of Minnesota and a pediatric orthopedic surgery fellowship at Gillett Childrenâ??s Hospital in St. Paul, MN. He is board-certified through the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.
