Dr. May Thomassee, a board-certified gynecologist, specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of menopause, menstrual disorders, endometriosis, uterine fibroids, benign ovarian cysts and pelvic & vulvar pain. She earned a medical degree from LSU Health Sciences Center before completing an internship and residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology & Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery fellowship at Vanderbilt University. She is a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians & Gynecologists and a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, National Vulvodynia Association & Lafayette Parish Medical Society. She is a committee member for the Louisiana State Medical Society & a board member for the Womanâ??s Foundation.
