My trees!

I live in the Lakewood Estes and Mike with Colorado Tree Experts came out and gave me a free estimate on some tree work I needed done. I decided to go ahead and have them do my trees and I am so happy with my decision. I have medium size maple in my front yard and they trimmed it and it looks beautiful. I also had some shrubs in my back yard that they trimmed and they look great. Colorado Tree Experts really takes pride in their work and I am so happy with how my yard looks!

Colorado Tree Experts was founded in 1989 by Mike Iacovetta. We are family owned and operated with over 20 years of experience. We are tree removal specialists and tree pruning experts. We have been Lakewood city contractors for over 12 years. Colorado Tree Experts is fully licensed and insured including workman's compensation. We give free estimates, 10% senior discount, 5% veterans discount (cannot be combined) and a winter discount. We provide quality work at a fair price. We take pride in our work and Mike feels pruning a tree is an art form. Our work is always 100% guaranteed. Tips for healthier trees especially in times of drought: Moisture keeps trees healthy and helps avoid disease. Trees stressed by drought are more susceptible to disease, branch die back and insect infestation. Aerate your yard in the spring and fall. This is beneficial not only to your lawn but also your trees and shrubs. Aeration helps water, oxygen and nutrients get to the roots more easily. Water your trees and shrubs in the fall and winter (Oct.- Mar.) in temps above 40 degrees with no snow cover. Apply water deeply and slowly in the drip line (trunk to farthest reaching branches) Water once or twice a month depending on temperatures and condition of your soil. Spring and summer (April- Sept.) water three times a month depending on temperature and condition of your soil. Water with deep root fork or needle and soft -spray wand or soaker hose. Use organic mulch and apply within drip line at a depth of 4 inches leaving six inches of space between the mulch and trunk of tree. Mulch can be wood chips, bark, leaves and evergreen needles.
