- EDUCATION Michael T. Sinopoli, MD attended Duke University for his undergraduate studies, graduating with honors in public policy, and earned his Medical Doctorate from MCP Hahnemann School of Medicine in Philadelphia. After graduating medical school, he did his internship at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia and completed his residency training in radiation oncology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. While at Baylor, Dr. Sinopoli served as Chief Resident, and in 2005, he won the American Radium Society’s Young Oncologist Award for his research on adult medulloblastoma brain tumors. AREAS OF SPECIAL INTEREST Prostate Cancer, Lung Cancer, Breast Cancer, CyberKnife® Stereotactic Radiosurgery, and Image Guided Radiation Therapy EXPERIENCE Michael T. Sinopoli, MD joined Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada in October 2010 after five years of private practice in St. Augustine, Florida. While in St. Augustine, Dr. Sinopoli served as Chairman of the Flagler Hospital Cancer Committee and was the Medical Officer on the St. Johns County Operating Board for the American Cancer Society. He has also authored scientific papers and been a speaker at several national and international conferences in radiation oncology. Since joining CCCN, Michael T. Sinopoli, MD has been an active member in the Las Vegas community, and serves on the Board for Family and Child Treatment of Southern Nevada. He has also been named a Top Doctor in Radiation Oncology by several publications, including US News & World Report, Vegas Seven, and Desert Companion.
