- Estate Sale process:We receive the call from you.We meet you and conduct a visual inventory. We will determine a sale date and sign a contract. We will advertise and market your sale through our website, an email blast to our loyal customers, run an ad in local newspaper, and we will post and take down signs to attract additional customers. We provide you with a computer printout of items sold; items over $50.00 are listed individually, lesser ones totaled under a miscellaneous bucket. We will group, setup/display, clean, price and label merchandise.  We will post signage to provide information to customers. We will conduct your sale (duration can be 2-4 days, depending on amount of inventory).  During sale there will be one entrance to safeguard your merchandise.Unsold items may be retained by the client, sold by an auction company, or donated to a local charity company. Usually within two days after the sale we arrange for the auction and charity to pick-up merchandise. We leave the premises "broom clean," meaning that we sweep or vacuum. We dispose of trash, but cannot be responsible for the disposition of hazardous materials, paint, television sets, tires, mattresses, large furniture, or refuse unrelated to the sale unless prior agreement is made.

- Don’t clean out the house!  Don’t get a dumpster and start tossing items!Part of our service is to come by and look at the estate before you start going through disposing of items. We have worked with many families advising on which items to keep for the sale. Here’s a short, incomplete list of items that will sell at an estate sale:Half used spicesHalf used bottles of cleanersOld clothingOld linensOld booksOld calendarsFurniture that needs repairApronsUnopened packaged and canned foodThe best thing to do is leave the house as it is.  Don’t worry about trying to clean the house up before we come over, let us do the cleaning for you.  Let us come in and determine what is trash, and what is valuable.  You’ll be amazed at what is valuable.I’m glad to say this page has saved some families a lot of work and money!
