I Have been coming to Beaumont behavioral health for about three years now. I live in a somewhat small city and we just don't have the Mental health facilities here.My family doctor saw that I needed more treatment that she had been able to give me.So she made an apt for me here. they completely reworked all my meds and I have seen a therapist here also. I Just want to say. Thank God MY my regular doctor had the medical sense to have me sent to these professionals. I Cant say enough good about them. the meds are just the right ones and doses for me. the office staff is very polite,even when I miss an apt. They never rush me. and try to help because I do live out of town with the schedule.I feel like I have come a long way with their help.and I do feel like they really do care about what they are doing.My life is much better and I can function so much better in the world. I saw a therapist at Beaumont Behavioral Health, and although I really liked the therapist, the office leaves a lot to be desired. It is stiff and overly formal, and reeks of air freshener. I believe the nurses and social workers and psychologists who work there are mostly pretty good, and have their clients' best interests in mind, but the place itself has a sterile, unwelcoming feel. In many ways I hate to say this because the social worker I saw there was quite good, and tried very hard to help me. As is typical in these times, however, Beaumont is extremely concerned about your insurance and how they are going to get paid. Nothing wrong with that unless it becomes the overriding issue in therapy. Then you start to feel like a commodity instead of a real life human being. I think Beaumont Behavioral Health is typical of this type of office these days- they parade people in and out and the service doesn't feel very personalized. This is not unique though anymore.

This is a wonderful group of professionals. The office is beautiful and the office staff are always caring and helpful. I would recommend this practice to everyone. It is great to have my therapist and nurse practitioner at the same office.

Beaumont Behavioral Health is a decent group of practitioners, who do a good job helping their clients. However, the office atmosphere is stifling and uncomfortable and noisy. For that reason, I cannot give them a positive rating as it is so important for clients to feel comfortable and safe in their surroundings while in a therapy office. But to reiterate, the personnel is very good and are helpful to their clients, which I suppose is the most important thing. I only wish they could improve the overall general atmosphere of the office environment somewhat. If it were a little more comfortable to be there, the overall experience would be more positive.
