My family has been bringing our cars (5) for oil changes, brake jobs, battery changes, tire rotations, and tune ups for several years.

Tony at Livermore Automotive Center knows how to treat his customers. My only issue is I wish he had another shop in Tracy where I live!

I went to this place more than year ago for smog check, told me that my car have problems here and there and need to change parts, ofcourse I didn t do it, until today there are absolutely no problem with my car. Also asked the price for brake pads, said 300 USD, and when i say no and leave, the worker there immediately offer me a 100 dollar discount, really? Someone have to be very very sick to believe this shop. Today, without my knowledge, one of my family member accidently bring my car to this place because of some weird noise and the shop owner said that the catalytic converter need to be replaced, a USD500 cat converter for a 2002 Honda accord, and the owner said we MUST and that s the only part we can use and other parts is illegal. He also mentioned that as the owner of the shop, he is the one who decide what part to be used. btw the cat converter he mentioned is not even a Honda original part. When I received call from my family member I immediately stop it and he want to charge USD180 just to put it back. Weird thing is, after the cat converter is put back to the car, the weird noise gone and my car run fine again.....I guess only GOD can explain that. Please help yourself and do not even try to think to go to this place.

I'm glad to finally have found the guys for my car. I can trust Tony without having to bring a guy in an autoshop so I don't get ripped off as a young female. I'm thankful for all the reviews that I based my decision upon! I had to shop around to change my timing belt and Tony offered the most competitive price. Not only was he friendly and honest (I'd requested transmission fluid change but he said it wasn't necessary yet), He showed me ALL the work that had been done and never showed a sign of frustration for a million questions I asked. I once again went back for my brake change and he was so prompt, kind, and professional. Of course, he gave me an option to change my rear brakes in 3 months because they could last that much longer.

I have had an ongoing problem with my 2005 Honda for some time. It's been to the dealer and various other shops. None of them could correct the problem. I have spent so much money trying to resolve this. My check engine light stays on. Livermore AutoCenter had my car for only a partial day and found, of all things, the thermostat was bad. I never knew that would turn on the check engine light. It was not expensive to fix and it's been several weeks now and the check engine light has not come back on. Friends recommended this shop and now I know why. They are good at what they do and charge a resonable price. I will always come back here now for all the car needs and will recommend them to all of you.
