      The Life Steps Foundation provides home- and community-based services for children, adults and senior citizens. The organization maintains adult day health care centers that offer various services, including nursing care, medication management, physical exercises, speech therapy and psychological counseling. It provides early intervention and Getting Hip programs for children. The Life Steps Foundation also offers training in money management, home maintenance, grooming, personal hygiene and meal planning. The organization conducts classes in yoga, dance, computers, gardening, aerobics, safety skills development, and arts and crafts. It also provides services for the victims of drug and alcohol abuse. The Life Steps Foundation s Work for Recovery program includes job training and assistance. The organization offers services for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer s disease and developmental disabilities. Its Freindship Center is located in Long Beach, Calif.
