I have taken all of our pets here for over 40 years now, and can't say enough about how caring and careful they are with my animals. On more than a few occasions, they were able to save one of my animals when no one thought there was any hope. I won't go anywhere else.

Have taken our pets there for over 30 yes. Always had good advice on caring for both cats and dogs. Have given our 17 yr old cat good care within our budget. They've been very compassionate when we lost our animals to heart issues.

We were recommended to go here by a friend who has nothing but positive experiences. But I will never bring our cat to the Animal Hospital again...and wonder if she'll be able to have a good experience at another vet because of our traumatic visit here.Our cat has always had positive visits to the vet, never any problems. We even used to board her at our vets office in Arvada. So when we moved to Longmont and brought her to the Animal Hospital we didn't expect anything different. The vet was very rough with her, and brought in a vet tech when she was showing some signs of aggravation. The vet tech put on heavy leather gloves to hold her down and proceeded to shake her by her scruff. We've heard from other vets that this is known as 'scruffing' and is not used by reputable vets. This made our cat down-right pissed off. I was terrified to be in the same room as her. They let her go and she was cowering in the corner under a chair. It was a terrible experience!

The Animal Hospital is wonderful. I took my cat to another vet in Longmont and they took her in the back to cut her nails while I had to listen to her cries. At the Animal Hospital, I get to hold and comfort her all through the procedures, shots and check up. They are very understanding when I was going through rough financial times. They have always been kind, gentle and comforting to my kitty.

My cat had an abscessed ear and I needed to get it checked on the fly since my other vet moved on. They got me in right away and I was impressed at how friendly the staff was, clean the office & exam rooms were, their gentleness with kitty, and the reasonable charge for the visit/antibiotics. I checked the prices for annual health exams and it was on par with other vets. I will make them my regular vet from now on.

This is the third animal hospital I've been to in Longmont and it's the best one. I wouldn't take my animals anywhere else. Dr. Dreyer (one of the owners) is fantastic. Really has gotten to know my pet. And for such a clean, well-organized animal hospital, they are shockingly holistic in their approach. Meaning, it's not a place that puts your animal through a bunch of medical testing that can stress them out if it's unnecessary. Great, great place.
