Doheny Kosher is the absolute best. Their meat is fresh. It tastes fantastic, and it's of the highest quality. There is no better butcher in LA. Period.

I have been buying my meat from Doheny Kosher since the 1980s! I have always found the service to be pleasant and courteous. In fact, I look forward to speaking with the owner and the staff who are always very helpful and kind. The meat and chicken I have purchased throughout the years has been outstanding. It is true, some of the meat and chicken is more expensive than in the kosher markets...but you get what you pay for. At Doheny, they will cut my meat and chicken just as I like it and package it the way I request, no questions asked! Also, they sell delicious cooked turkeys, chickens, prime rib and other cuts of meat for when I don't have time to cook or need an extra something for a large crowd. To save time, I usually call in my order and now I can even order online. (GREAT!) They have weekly specials they send to my email address which is helpful. They also carry some great specialty grocery items. I think Doheny Kosher is a wonderful butcher shop!

If there was a possibily to rate this vender with a negative 5 star, i would rate him just that.Very disappointed with such rude, unpleasant and stinking attitude of the owner and his terrible manners and services. You would think that a business owner would want to keep a new client returning to his business over and over again, and also share a wonderful experience with others, thereby referring family and friends to the newly discovered wonderful store!!!!!!!!!!!The owner of the business precisely told that he does not want to sell me and that he does not want me to call his store again, only because I questioned why this 3 pounds of schnitzel came to $75.00, because i was told that each pound is $5.99.I want to ask where is his chesed?
