Palms Middle School, located in Los Angeles, is a public school offering an extensive curriculum for students in grades six through eight. It has an enrollment of more than 1,850 students and is operated and governed by the Los Angeles Unified School District. The school offers a wide range of subjects, including English, language arts, science, mathematics, social studies and health and physical education. In addition, it offers extended learning program that provides tutorials after the school hours for students needing assistance with English and mathematics. The school provides a student store that offers physical education uniforms and other various school supplies. Palms Middle School has an active parent-teacher student association that assist the school with fundraising through various events, including the magazine drive, celebrity basketball game, cartridge recycling, community day and Palmsaver cards.
