Food, service, and price are great!

Great food, lovely service and the atmosphere was elegant. The cheesecake was to die for. Im most definitely going back here for another round... or three!

Me and my husband came her for valentines day. We were seated and this older blond lady was our waiter. We ordered and my husband asked for a couple of drinks. I don't drink considering I am pregnant! She could only bring one drink to the table so my husband just ordered a bottle. After that she walked away over to a cash register where there were other waiters standing around, this lady had the nerve to talk about me and my husband to everyone else standing over there. While me and my husband sit there trying to enjoy our only weekend with each other for another month and she has her whole posse starring at us. It was the most uncomfortable situation and she's lucky I'm pregnant or I would've snapped her neck!

I love this restaurant. The food is delicious and generous. The menu is extensive and even the finicky will find something and love it. Not only do I love going to eat there, but I used to be the sautee cook. The kitchen is clean and the food is from scratch--nothing frozen or canned. It was a joy to work for the company and to go enjoy and evening with my family...5 stars...

Expensive entrees. I recommend them for the cheesecake which is extravagant and rich.

My daughter and I had lunch here and rate this restaurant so highly because it is, clean, fast, efficient, friendly, unpretentious. The service staff and the food is excellent. I will definitely revisit this restaurant on any future trips to Louisville.

Last visited 6/9/07 @ 5:30 pm, 5 of us seated within 20 minutes. Not bad for Sat. evening. Took very long time to be served food. Food arrived cool! Should have been very warm to hot. I believe the food had been sitting & server forgot it. Another group of 5 arrived after us & seated after us received full meals in about half the time it took ours. They ordered similar dishes. This night's experience was not at all representative of the other previous visits. They weren't tremendously busy & can't understand the problem this time. Manager did replace the cold food, offered free desserts to all (we declined-not at all impressed with their desserts) & very apologetic. The Chicken Marsala was returned but it appears it was nuked. Pasta rubbery & tough-but steaming hot! They did reduce the amount of the bill accordingly. It will be a while before returning.
