I have frequently used Checker for many years. Drivers are friendly and will assist your needs with bags and groceries. Taxis are neat and clean. On time.

horrible cab company, the driver took off because he waited for 5 minutes again when i was just punching out, called back and the guy said he will come and get me, 1 hour later said he is on wood street, he defintely got another person after he dropped someone off, said he will be there in 10, then 2 hours go by, i called 12 times no answer. worst worst worst cab company ever, i am telling you never use them, they should not even be in business they forget about customers and ignore them, i was left stranded outside my job when it was 88 F out sweating and tired.

I had horrible experience this morning.The cab guy is very rude.I'm very much scared.I thought of calling 911.I took cab with my 2 years old baby.And he was in the cab.First he did nt open the door.He was in driver's seat and listening music.I had some stuff in both the hands along with baby.I asked his help to put the stuff in cab.He said NO.And he did nt close the door while we are in cab.When we called him,he said he will take credit card.After the ride,he said he dont take the card.I dont have cash.I had to call my friend to bring the cash.Worst service and worst driver.....

.Why does every checker cab smell like smoke? Service is some what reliable. But cars stink.

I called at 730 am and asked them to pick me up at 830, he said no problem ill call you at 830. 830 rolls around and no ones here. I call and there's no answer I Called for ten minutes straight and still no answer. Had to call another cab service and wait another 45 mins to get picked up. Thanks a lot.

Wow - 3 hours to get a cab. live about 7 miles outside of lowell in suburbs and was told it was 45 minute wait - just needed to run a couple of errands only about 3 miles away from my house. after 2 hours I called dispatcher and she said that driver could not find house. not true since i was sitting in my driveway 35 minutes and do not live on a busy street so every car that came in was a neighbor. The driver that finally did show up after 3 hours of waiting was decent and did not charge me a crazy amount. the wait was not his fault but i dont like being lied to when they say definately 20 minutes and driver shows up 50 minutes later. again driver was fine and trustworthy and his cab was clean but checker cab needs to get their act together with dispatch. 3 hours is just too long to wait in the rain for a cab.
