We had our deck built by Remington Decks and it is spectacular! Not only is Bob up front and honest, but he is a craftsman and perfectionist. He also did the job right! He went above and beyond our town code because his way was the proper way. For example, our town code allows the footings to be submerged in concrete foundations. Common sense will tell you that in a few years, these wood footings will rot which is not good. Bob used metal brackets bolted into the concrete foundations to raise the wood footings about the ground. This allows the wood to dry out after rain which ellimnates rot and extends the life of the foundation. Bob's crew is very meticulous - they cleaned up each day so that our yard did not look like a disaster area. The trim work and railings were level and spot on. No detail was missed! We also added a tight deadline and Bob's crew met the challenge. Remington Decks is the way to go. Very professional! Our deck was worth every penny and it shows!
