Home Depot appliance Delivery is awful. I tend to prefer HD over Lowes overall,except in terms of their appliance delivery. After the 5th time purchasing appliances and having a delivery issue each time. I think I may go to the Lowes side or Best Buy or some other option for appliances going forward. Yes HD tends to be slightly cheaper, but when you rent to tenants and you take 5 hours out of your day waiting for an appliance and they call you and confirm 3 times you need to be home for delivery, only to find out they appliance never made it to the truck is a HUGE waste of time and money! We fix homes 5 hours of not working and waiting for a refrigerator that the delivery service called and confirmed delivery of and to not have it on the truck is unacceptable! This is the 5th time HD delivery has dropped the ball on me. This time it was essential to me that it was delivered on time as I was moving one tenant from one unit to another so we could do demo work which was lined up with other workers. The demo now needs to be postponed, (I have other jobs lined up) so this mistake has certainly cost me time and money. I give the delivery service a -0 it beyond sucks! Please do yourself a huge favor and get your appliances elsewhere! For the measly 40 bucks i thought I saved going to HD ended up costing me hundreds!
