Highly recommend. Matters not if you have absolutely no dance background (as in my case) or have been dancing all your life. Instructional sessions will be customized to your personal goals. I simply adore the SWD staff. The initial welcome by Pam administrative office manager was so overwhelmingly warm that I was prompted to seek more. All of the instructors are highly skilled, multi-talented, and passionate about what they do, not to mention that they make learning fun! Personally speaking, my instructor, Mr. Shane Carroll, is amazing! He is extremely knowledgeable and an incredibly awesome dancer and instructor. He has graciously embraced my fears, certainly giving me the necessary direction to move forward, and has demonstrated flexibility due to my rigorous professional schedule. Overall, SWD has been a very positive experience. No doubt that what SWD offers will improve your physical, emotional and social wellness. I say “go for it”!

I've been to Shall We Dance severeral times, and each was a wonderful experience. The staff and dancers there make you feel like it isn't just a place to learn to dance, but a community that you want to be a part of. Knowledgeable and friendly, the instructors can work with you to fulfill whatever dance goals you are looking for, whether it is to just feel more comfortable on the dance floor, or if you have a desire to compete in front of a large crowd, they can make it happen!

I cannot say enough about this dance studio. Wonderful and friendly staff, professional dance floor,along with great students. They offer dance lessons for social dancing as well as for the competitive dancer as well. I have been taking lessons with the owner for 7 years. Excellent and compassionate teacher for all of his students. I drive 98 miles one way to take my lessons . I think that says it all.The studio also has guest coaches brought in that are amazing. Love Shall We Dance Studios and everyone of the staff.

We've been in the ballroom dance community in south Louisiana for 20 years, and we know almost all of the professionals on both the north and south shores. We highly recommend the instructors at Shall We Dance Studio as the best on the Northshore!

This place is my home away from home. I rather be at this studio, than anywhere else. Ballroom and Latin dancing gives you such confidence in yourself as well as teach you how to trust the people around you. The instructors, students, guests, etc. all make you feel welcome and you walk out of this studio with a new found family. From a teen perspective, it's the best thing I can find to do on a Friday night when they have their social dance parties. I love Shall We Dance Studios, between the dancing and the people; it has made me an overall better dancer and friend. I highly recommend this place for any person, at any age.

You will have an incredible time learning any dance from Argentine Tango (Shane LeCocq, the owner, is especially wonderful teaching this dance) to East Coast Swing. The staff is very well qualified and incredibly patient with people from any dance (or lack of dance) background.



The great atmosphere and outstanding people will make you feel at ease. My private lessons are so much fun and are tailored to my ability and personal rate of growth. Also, every friday Shall We Dance hosts group parties where you will meet other students and have a great time practicing all you have learned. If you are interested in learning to dance, these parties are a great way no pressure way to check out the studio. And... you do not need a partner - I go as a single!

Shall We Dance Studios is the MOST fun a person can have on 2 feet. The Instructors are AWESOME, patient and talented. I have been taking lessons for almost 3 years now and can not believe how much I LOVE Shall We Dance Studios!!! Everyone there makes you feel comfortable and no matter how you feel when you arrive, you feel great when you leave. I have more confidence, have lost over 100 pounds, and have pride in myself.

I have always been a fan of dancing shows so when my sister suggested we go to Shall We Dance Studios to take ballroom dance lessons, I leapt at the chance.

To be perfectly honest, I expected to learn a few moves, sweat a little and go about my business. I am excited and slightly embarrassed to admit that I am officially obssessed!

My first lesson was amazing! Our instructors patiently walked us through the basic of 5 popular dances. While learning the waltz box step, I glanced in the mirror and realized I had the most ridiculous grin on my face.

It's been 10 months since my first lesson and I am happy to report that the cheesy grin is still plastered on my much slimmer face. Yes! As if learning to dance wasn't enough, I found this to be a great way to burn off last night's pizza and ice cream binge!
