General Info: Weathertight Contracting, Inc is a family owned business owned by myself (Mark A. McMichen) for over 20 years. My father started McMichen Construction in 1971, where he earned a reputation for his honesty and quality workmanship. At the age of eleven I began working during the summers with my dad (not always voluntarily). By the time I was a teenager I could form up a slab and finish concrete with the best of them. He taught me the value of integrity and hard work. Although my father has been retired for many years now, I still seek his advise on many occasions. Through the years Weathertight has done countless jobs all over the metro Atlanta area. Although the majority of our jobs are for private homeowners we have also done work for organizations such as: Cobb County Community Development, Gwinnett Community Development, Atlanta Gas Light, Cobb Senior Services, Georgia Office of Energy Resources, Georgia Power, City of Marietta, Georgia Residential Finance Authority, and countless others.
