I am giving this location 5 stars due to outstanding customer service! I must say, I think they should get a 6th star for the simple fact of having to deal with such characters that go to their store with the whole entitlement attitude. I have been in retail for over 30 years. Those bums need to go back to Princeton and stay there!!!
If i could give the store a zero I would. They have the worse staff every. They have know optical knowledge at all buyer beware.

Provided by YPmobileBeen waring glasses for 62 years and always was satisfied until I went to Pearl vision in Destin. Over priced, poor service and bad product. I feel stupid for not walking out when I realized I was dealing with a business akin to a used car dealer.

The website says that you can return frames within 30 days. It does not say that this offer will not be granted between stores. Found the frames I wanted at another store and the place I originally got the frames said no way. Some stores are company stores and others are franchise - beware you cannot switch stores.

I've gone to pearle Vision in State College a number of times. I understand the the doctor there and the eyeglass sides are seperate businesses. On the Pearle side I have gotten nothing but great service. The two people I see the most are Mike and Kate. Both are very helpful and a pleasure to work with. I wish more business had employees like this who took the time to explain every thing and do it with a smile. I would highly recomand going there just to be helped by them/

I went to Pearle in Norman and found no wait. I thought I had no insurance coverage, but they called anyway and I found that I had good coverage. The people were courteous, professional, well organized; the facilities were neat and clean with lots of chairs available. My son and I got great service (especially since we just walked in w/no appointment) and I spent less than I thought I would.

Called to schedule an appointment and the woman asked for my insurance information. I was told that I would recieve a call before my scheduled appointment about my insurance and if they took it. The day of the appointment I didn't get a call so I went on in. I walked in and it took them 15 minutes to say "be with you in a moment". Then when I was finally spoke with someone I was told that my insurance would not be taken because it was out of their network. So it was a waste of time and gas for me to have been there when all they had to do was call me to let me know. However, when I called my insurance company they told me that it should have not made a difference my coverage is the same where ever I go.

Provided by YP.comI took my husband for an appointment to get his eyes examined. It took 3 1/2 hours at the Pearle in Regency 32225 for the doctor to give him an exam and that was WITH an appointment. Next, they tried to rip us off by charging $450 just for sunglasses. We went to Vision Works less than 1500 feet away and bought 3 pairs of glasses which included the sunglasses for a little over $500 with tax. Won't EVER go back to Peale for any reason. Also, many of these places are owned by the same company. Pearle owns Lenscrafters, Jcpenney's, Sears and a couple of others optical centers. Beware of overpriced companies like this one.

Provided by YP.comYou can do better. The price I paid for contact lenses was about 33% over what I paid elsewhere.
Additionally the Pearle Vision employee who I talked with at the Battlefield Rd. store, consistently displayed the attitude that she was put out by taking my order for contact lenses while she was on duty during regular business hours.
Finally she(the same employee) knew that when I was seen I was in distress-had absolutely no glasses or contact lenses on hand and essentially couldn't function without them-and she told me that she would be ordering my lenses that day.Three days later I found out she(the employee who acted put out by doing her job) hadn't even placed the order yet.Avoid them.

Provided by YP.comThey get you to come in because of their nice retail store, but the service and quality is lacking. Be cautious, you will pay more!

Provided by YP.comDoctor was not nice. I felt like another number/dollar in his pocket.
I am sorry to hear of your experience at the office. I am wondering if you have our office mistaken with another...we do not have a male doctor on staff. Please call the office if there is anything we can do to make your experience better.
At Pearle Vision, we look for new and different ways to improve your optical experience. Call to schedule an appointment, or visit us online to view frames, order contacts and see special offers.
- General Info
- At Pearle Vision, our customers are the heart of our business, and we are obsessed with making the optical experience better for them every step of the way. So we do things a bit differently. We don't lead you to believe you'll pay one thing for a pair of glasses, then spring a bunch of surprise costs on you when you get to the register. We don't leave it up to you to figure out what your vision benefits do or don't cover. And around here, we think of the optical experience as more than a prescription and a pat on the back. Why? Because we were founded by a doctor who revolutionized the optical industry by putting people first and promising to deliver a vision experience like no other. One that is based not just on cutting-edge technology and retail selection, but on listening and respect. At Pearle Vision, we're different. And it shows. Our obsession with improving the optical experience began with Dr. Stanley Pearle. Dr. Pearle founded the Pearle VisionĀ® business in 1961 with a small office in Savannah, Georgia, five employees-and a commitment to excellence. An innovative man, Dr. Pearle didn't stop with Georgia. More than 40 years and nearly 800 company and franchise stores later, Dr. Stanley Pearle's vision, Pearle Vision, is an American household name.
