Provided by YP.comI went here to gain mobility after a severe fall and fracturing my pelvic. My 5 star rating for expertise goes to the physical therapists! I had the privilege of working with several, all of them very compassionate and knowledgeable. Special recognition to Matthew & Lauren, my first therapists which set the tone & plan for my quick recovery. They gave me the tools and skills to be successful and build my confidence.
I would also like to recognize Lisa Williams, CNA. Through her actions and caring way, it is evident that she is there to help and truly make a difference in the patients stay. She is a sweetheart! I would also like to recognize 2 nurses that went above and beyond, by carefully listening to my concerns and then taking the time to explain so I felt comfortable with the situation. In my eyes they are angels and a asset to Hanover Health. Their names are Robin & Carolyn.
The explanation for the 2 star rating is directed towards the facility. I was there for 6 nights, most nights it was difficult to sleep as it was very loud, staff polishing floors (began 11:00pm 2 nights), patients yelling for help as when you pushed the call button, most times the reaction time was unacceptable. On 3 occasions, patients wondered into my room on their wheelchairs and were confused. Administration dept seemed disorganized. They brought admission papers for me to sign 5 days after I arrived and 1 day before I was leaving. After discussing my discharge date with therapists (who felt I was ready) and administrators who acknowledged, on the day of discharge, it was in their computer as leaving 2 days later, which in turn delayed leaving for several hours. In our observation, it appears too many in management and not enough workers.
