George, Mike & Bob arrived on time. Our 75' Maple with a 34" diameter trunk came down smooth as silk. This huge tree hanging over our 1890's Victorian, 10' away from the foundation, was not at all a challenge for the Donovan team. They coordinated their movements to tie-back, secure, cut & lower branches quickly and seamlessly. The result was a fair price with superb professional work. I will call Donovan for my future tree work. I highly recommend them.

Had Donovan's service this week. Three 80 to 90 ft cherry trees, one 30 ft. pine and a smaller elm all in situations where they could fall on the house. The crew really knew what they were doing. They had a boom truck, a climber/sawyer, a chipper and truck and two ground crew [total 4 men]. The boom man,Pete, placed those trees, very large trunks, exactly where he wanted them[could have been on a dime]. I kept the wood and it was placed in a very tight pile out of the way of any yard traffic. These guys made every move count from the climber who secured the cables for the boom and then made just the right cuts, to the ground crew who fed the hungry chipper all it could eat. Everything was efficient, well planned and well cleaned up at the end....couldn't ask for a better job. The whole operation should be filmed to show how a well run job should be executed...it would make a great documentary !!!

Thanks guys for a great couple of hours of entertainment...the tickets cost a little more than a movie but think of all that great firewood when you pay $3.???? for oil this winter....Fred Jr. will know who this writer is.....
