Provided by YP.comTheir Sunday brunch is fantastic! I little bit expensive but worth every penny as far as I'm concerned. They're eggs are always fluffy and amazing and I highly recommend the challah french toast. Everything I've had there has been delicious and I appreciate the diversity in the menu. Others comment on the small portion sizes but that has never been my experience during brunch. Oh, and did I mention the fresh squeezed orange juice mimosas?! To die for!

Provided by YP.comMy sister and I went here about the middle of May 2009 and the food was great. It was a bit pricey. We shared an appetizer, and we both had the lamb for entrees and then shared a desert for $78. The lamb was delicious, it just melted in my mouth and they were huge portions! I don't know where they got those lamb chops from but they were huge. May not have been lamb since they were so large. May have been mutton, but whatever they were they were delicious. And they were served on a bed of mashed potatoes.
- General Info
- Established in 2002. "Look Good. Eat Good." are the words emblazoned on the front windows at the Beauty Shop. This hip and trendy restaurant in the Cooper-Young district of midtown Memphis does both, as it conjures up images of a '50s-style beauty shop, formerly Priscilla Presley's curl-and-dye spot. It's a camp wonderland where the façade is Jetsons-era Vitrolite, and choice seating is offered beneath hooded Belvedere hair dryers. Nostalgia is served with a sense of humor here. The beauty shop flashback comes complete with original mint green wash basins filling in as sinks behind the hand built bar, made of tiger maple wood. The terrazzo floor is original. Glass brick stalls serve as intimate booths. Mixed with the retro renderings are modern touches such as hand-blown art-glass lights, and glamorous copper and silver-leaf walls. At this offbeat restaurant, the décor pays homage to the space's beauty parlor past, while the food offers flavors from around the globe.Established in 2002. "Look Good.
