We had the WORST experience at this place during graduation weekend. Not only were we seated on plastic folding tables, but the menu was reduced to their 5 most expensive items (which where priced 4-7 dollars more then they are on their everyday menu). To makes things worse, the overpriced menu was INEDIBLE!

my family went to skoogs, and was amazed at how nice the place is. it is gorgeous! we all had nice meals, and our server was so friendly and accomodating. who would have thought such a gem was right here in town! we should have checked it out sooner. the prices were very reasonable, for such a classy joint. love it!

skoogs is beautiful as well as warm and inviting. it has so much detailing! we had the top sirloin and boneless pork chops. it was delicious. it is also great to have popovers. where can you find them anymore? i was so impressed. the service wa some of the best i`ve had around! a huge thank you to the owners.

We spent one night in Menomonie and were hoping to find a 'nice' place for dinner - and never expected anything like Skoog's. As soon as we stepped inside, we fell in love with the restaurant. The owner had built it himself and the incredible, beautiful detail that catches your eye in every nook and cranny is a delight. The quality of the food matched the building - excellent! My husband's steak was grilled exactly the way he wanted, and my trout was delicious.The service was impeccable. If Skoog's were placed in 'a big city', it could easily compete and surpass many of the fine dining places in a metro area. You would think a place like this would empty your wallet? Not at all. Dinner for two, beverages, including a glass of wine with dinner, was very, very reasonable. Thank you, Skoog's, and Mr Probst, for a wonderful dining experience!
