We wanted to purchase a bed but I had concerns that they wouldn't get it up the stairs... I conveyed that to the girl at the register and she said, "don't worry they will get in up the stairs", confirming to us that it wouldn't be a problem... I'm an Interior Designer since 1995 never encountered anything like this... I briefly walked through this store one time, I thought they had amazing furniture... I honestly didn't realize when the bed didn't fit they would not refund my $1600.. The girl at the register should have said, "listen if you think it may not fit go home take some measurements be sure because this bed whether it fits or not is non-refundable." Unfortunately, that's not what happened I feel a bit taken because she said it would fit just so she could make the sale... It was pretty evident she didn't care to warn the customer... The owner said he'd give us store credit but I need a bed and I saved that money for a bed for my room... They don't have any beds in there that will fit... Very upset with myself and extreme disappointed with the owner at Potato Barn...
