      Formed in 1946, Gaumard Scientific develops health care training tools and simulators. Based in Miami, Fla., the company mainly focuses on development of innovative teaching simulators in nursing care, emergency care and OB/GYN. Its services include advanced patient care, adult patient care, pediatric and neonatal care, skills trainers, injection/infusion trainers, childbirth and NOELLE birthing simulators, advanced emergency care, multicode simulators, and CPR trainers. Gaumard Scientific introduced a childbirth simulator in 1949 to improve the clinical competence of village midwives and reduce maternal and infant mortality and morbidity.
