25 years plus dealing with Wray and as usual the job was done to perfection and reasonable. This is my 7th different truck to have it's transmission rebuilt and again a smooth strong shift.

Had several issues: check engine light, traction control turning off, a/c not operating right, door lock not working, and a tire with a slow leak.



Thinking I had serious problems, I feared the worst. However, they were able to determine the solution to each problem, which were all small things but more than I could do on my own. They got my car back to me within a day and it was fixed right.



Tire is holding air, a/c is cooling well, no more engine issues, and door lock works. Really glad I took it to them and that they could do it right and pretty quick.

This is the BEST place in Midlothian, VA area for car repairs. We thought we would need a new engine after an explosion while trying to start my husbands car but they installed a new manifold and it was back on the road in good shape with a repair bill under $1600.00 . We had another repair shop on Hull Street put brakes on that had to be replaced because the vechile would not stop properly so that was $200.00 thrown away because Midas said they used CHEAP parts. So happy we found an honest and competent auto repair shop -Thanks Chesterfield Transmission!

I just had a major engine issue with my car. I took it here. They staff was friendly and courteous and kept me informed as to what was going on with my car. They were able to figure out the issue and present me with several solutions and let me decide which way to proceed. Where other shops may have tried to get me to pay thousands more to fix an issue with parts I didn't need. They fixed it right and got me back on the road in a matter of days.Thanks for the honesty and understanding -- great people!!!

One Stop Shop. I like that! The guys and 1 gal are super nice and shoot straight from the hip - no games, if it's broke, they'll tell you what you need to fix it. And IF you are in need of something they don't do (I needed my headliner done), they can refer you to someone equally capable and nice. I've been going to them for almost 5 years now - and so far they've gotten everything done and I have had no further issues. One thing I really like is how they check over the entire car and make sure nothings broke, leaking, etc. - I like that they look after me and are concerned for my safety and most importantly my childrens safety. ;)

My transmission was under warranty with another shop. The owner of that shop was in the hospital when my transmission started to slip. I brought it in to Chesterfield Transmission and specifically told them to check the fluid, codes, etc., but not to open the transmission. They removed my transmission and took it apart. Unwilling to admit the mistake, the service writer told me I authorized it over the phone and treated me like I was trying to cheat him. When I towed the car away, I noticed an identical model vehicle on the lot with the transmission out. Could be a coincidence or most likely, they grabbed the wrong car and wouldn't come clean.
