This is a wonderful old hotel. It appears the owner is renovating rooms a little bit at a time. The newly renovated rooms are terrific. This establishment is exactly right for the person who wants a unique hotel experience. The main building and lobby are 114 years old and retain the historic flavor of yesteryear. With the restuarant and lounge a guest has most of what they might need. In addition, the best poker game in Miles City is hosted in the hotel poker room. When you visit, ask to visit Miss Olive's room which has been preserved as an example of what hotel rooms looked like in the early part of the last century. Overall, a stay at the historic Olive Hotel is an adventure most people would enjoy greatly. I can't wait to see the Olive when all renovations are complete!

One of the worst places I have ever stayed at. The rooms at first glance seemed clean but on closer inspection there were smears and splashes of god knows what all over the bathroom walls. The drawers were filthy and to top it off the desk clerks were extremely rude and unfriendly I would not suggest staying here.
