The Little Earth Neighborhood Early Learning Center, also known as LENELC, offers a range of early childhood programs. It is the home of nonprofit tenant residents that focus on improving the lives of children, youths and families. The center s programs include culturally relevant child care and educational services. The Little Earth Neighborhood Early Learning Center serves American Indian families and the Phillips neighborhood. The center is a part of the Little Earth of United Tribes, which is a provider of housing options for urban American Indians in Minneapolis. The organization operates more than 200 housing units that provide shelter to over 900 people.
