My first time so my son helped me and showed me how to do it,not a busy hour then watched how they cook.The food actually taste good and lady was nice.The place is clean too.Will soon go back with my husband.

I eat here frequently. Staff is great. Food is great. And despite reviews I've read here, the place is always clean. I'm there at least once a month, but I would love to go every week.

Restaurant was clean, service was great and food was delicous! The whole family loved it...will definitely go back again.

We walked in hoping for a new restaurant in East Modesto. When we sat down our elbows slid off the table so we asked the waiter to please clean it. We went up to the food line and were shoved by people that wanted to come back for more. They didn't look like they could fit any more food in. As we made our way picking out what we wanted we realized that the serving utensils were sticky and most likely full of un-sanitary matter. We pulled out a napkin and continued on. When we got to the sauces the utensils and the area were grossly disgusting, greasy, dirty and no one cared. We asked them to clean up the area and they said "we will clean up when we close." It was 5:00!! All in all for those who just want food you can have as much as you want. If you want a clean restaurant go elsewhere. If you want Roaches, Rats and Mice, this is for you,,,,.....!

We were so disapointed, Modesto deserves better.

Clean restaurants or no restaurant, please boycott this place.

Imagine waliking in the front door and your hand is full of grease. And inside since this is similar to a buffet all the food grabbing utensils are also greasy and the line is packed. When you get near the Barbeques are the sauces with 3 differt types of oil, this whole area is the greasiest area in the restaurant. When they wipe your table it is with the same greasy towel all the tables are wiped with. You can actuall write your name on the table. I think the reason it is ao packed with people is that they can eat all they want for $10.00. The food is so greasy you leave with a film in your mouth and you want to go home and brush your teeth and use Listerine. Such a shame as we need good restaurants in East Modesto and this one won't make the grade. How SAD

The Modesto GK is just as good as the Stockton one! Food is fresh, food bar area is kept clean and well stocked. For dinner, you can go back to fill your bowl as many times as you want to, although I can never even finish my first one.



Great place to eat and VERY reasonably priced - 4 of us were $45 with drinks.
