This place is somehow referred to as a "business" and a practice. I'm appalled that they would even call themselves that. After my second visit to see Dr. Stanton at this place, I was convinced that I need a more professional office to take care of my family. Some girls were talking in Spanish as I was waiting to checked-in. I waited and waited and finally when she checked me in, there was no apology or anything. This place is like a Gossip factory. I've never heard so many employees talking about their personal lives and the doctor who was sitting in the hallway was just acting like it's no big deal. He didn't even look up. Before I left on my first visit I asked about my co-pay, she told me it was $15. When I wrote a check I asked who I should make it out to. She told me to the Dr. himself. I said I would prefer to write it to the clinic so I have proof of paying my co-pay since I didn't know how the business names and all that works. She told me I can write it out to "PFP." When I gave her the check, she was acting like I have committed a murder. I suppose I'm not allowed to write checks to whom I choose? She didn't say good-bye or see you next time. I stood there waiting for my receipt and she actually said "Do you need something?" Uh, hello? I'm sorry, I guess I'm just use to kind and friendly people around my family since they are a "family" practice. I have decided that my family deserves better than what they can offer.

This office is by far the most unorganized and unprofessional. The clerks make you wait while they talk about their personal lives behind the counter as if you're invisible. One of the clerks were standing by their breakroom as soon as you walk through the door and was stuffing her face and started talking to the girl who had my chart. As I was about to be weighed, she actually came up and talked to her as if I wasn't even there. No excuse me or sorry to interrupt, she just walked up and they started talking for about 2 minutes and had me standing there waiting. And when I gave her a dirty look to let her know how upset I was, she gave me a dirty look back and walked away. I just can't believe there are businesses like this. I'm still in disbelief.

I have been going there for years. The doctors are great. Even with the insurance and HMO issues, the doctors and nurses have still maintained a caring perspective...especially Dr. Stanton. Stephanie, that answers the phones, has always been very congenial. But every time I have to see my doctor, I dread the inevitable communication that I have to have with the office staff. The office staff are cold, uncaring, and specialize in being processing robots. They seem more interested in getting out at 5:00 than making sure the patients are cared for. If they don't like their jobs, they need to find something that they would be better at.
