The government of City of Montebello in California operates Montebello Fire Department. The department primarily focuses on protecting the lives and property of the citizens of Montebello. It comprises five divisions, including fire administration, operations, communications, fire prevention and emergency preparedness. Fire Administration provides overall administration control over Fire Department functions including budget, policy and personnel. Operations division provides all emergency response including EMS, fire/rescue and special operations such as urban search and rescue and swift water/rescue.
