Dr. Kale Kirkland, a Montgomery native, received his Ph.D. from the University of Mississippi in 2011 and is licensed to practice psychology in Alabama. Dr. Kirkland specializes in clinical and forensic psychology, providing various evaluations and/or treatment for components of various Court systems. Dr. Kirkland specializes in both assessment and therapy, providing comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate for current diagnoses and related treatment recommendations. Such evaluations are aimed to assisting with educational and/or vocational planning, medication management, and self understanding. Dr. Kirkland specializes in the assessment of ADHD and Learning Disorders, which assists in behavioral modification, medication management, and/or academic accommodations at your child's school or on standardized testing (e.g. ACT). Dr. Kirkland provides therapy services, formulating individualized treatment plans for each therapy patient and using various theoretical orientations. Dr. Kirkland was trained in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based approaches.
