Impressed with Goodwin Animal Hospital! Dr. Sternenberg and assistants were patient, knowledgeable, and kind to our pet Max and also very informative to us of his dire situation. They kept us up to date on his recovery from surgery, AND this was on the Memorial Holiday weekend. Max is home and doing fine. Thanks again to Dr. Sternenberg and assistants.

My home and family resides in Montgomery and most of them believe and dog's place is outside. I was living in Charlotte when my father was losing his battle after several years with lung cancer and I knew that my place was by his side. My vet in Charlotte coordinated with the Goodwin clinic to board the 1 year old puppy for a few days upon my arrival as I needed to get a handle on things without the distraction on a 1 year old inside lab. The goodwin staff treated (J.R.) so caring and with the highest level of professionalism. As with anyone who considers thier K-9 as a member of the family, I received the reassurance under the circumstances I needed. Three years later, I relocated to Montgomery and Dr. Goodwin has been our Vet every since. (J.R.) was not accustomed to semi-rural life and thru the panic attack I had from him foaming at the mouth (smile) Dr. Goodwin assured me he had tasted a frog, (smile), I highly recommend the Goodwin clinic to everyone..... This morning on the way to work, I saw an elderly lady trying to help a dog that had just been hit by a vehicle in the middle of the Atlanta Highway. We put the dog on a blanket, carried it to my truck, and I rushed it to Dr. Goodwyn. The staff came out, and with no questions, put the dog on a stretcher, and away they went. The last I saw, the dog was surrounded by Goodwyn's staff, and a Dr. was taking charge. Later today, Dr. Goodwyn called to give me an update, even though the dog did not belong to me. So far they had been unable to find the owners, and the prognosis was not good, but Dr. Goodwyn and staff had the dog stabalized and were continuing care. I haven't used Dr. Goodywn, personally, but, in the future, I will. What I saw this morning, the call from the Dr., the overall concern of the staff was all I needed to choose Dr. Goodwyn for my two lab's future needs. The irony...I had just dropped my two "boys" at a clinic a few miles back.
