Great place, friendly staff, my pups love them.

i just took my dog in for surgery to this hospital, and it was great! of course, it was priced higher than the shelter, but well worth it. the girls up front were friendly, and my pet did not seem nervous. the place is nice and clean-no strange animal smell to the place. when i picked her up, the doctor who did the surgery did the check out personally, instead of talking to an assistant, which was nice. i'll use them for my other pets now too.

i have been using carolina forest vet since moving here in 2007, nothing put praise for them, staff have always been caring and the vets that i have seen have been very nice to me. took a cat i had in because she was not eating, she had a blockage and needed surgery and could not gtd me she would make it, which i knew before i took her, well she did not make it and i was very upset, they took the time to console me and even place her in a small casket for me and took her to my car for me. i could not thank them enough. i found a puppy along the road yesterday in bad shape and i wont think twice of taking her there. i know they will bring her back to health

Great staff and friendly service. Not only have I had all of my pets seen by the doctors but I've boarded my dog several times. The staff ALWAYS do a get job weather it's a simple checkup or an extended stay! ~RP

In addition to them always being helpful in regards to written prescriptions, I have to add that I have never had anything but positive experineces at CFVH, both with my cat and dogs. great place!

In response to the comment below about the online purchasing of heartworm medication...I'm not sure about the state laws here in SC, but where I lived previously, it was a state law that prescriptions could only be given if the pet had an exam on file for the year with the doctor writing the prescription. They can only legally write prescriptions if this exam is up-to-date. I do a lot of ordering online, for convenience as well as economical reasons, and I would never ask my personal physician to bend the law for me, and I don't expect my vet to risk losing their license either.

They have several vets there. Depending on who sees your pet,..........some are ok, some are not. The female doc there is very kind and caring. One of the male docs is also...but you don't know who will see them and care varies depends who is working that day. Same with front desk....some nice, others need to find a different job. Sorry.,,,,,, find a vet that really cares and where IF you ever need to speak directly with the vet you don' have to beg and plead through three people to do so!

Will never go there again! I was great customer, paid promptly, bought my meds there. When I was sick and my dogs needed heartworm meds for the first time in 9 years I used online pharmacy. Vets would not ok from onliner as I Was 3 weeks past their one year exam, so they finally said. First it was come in and pick up rx. Please! I am sick and recovering and cannot drive. Asked that a vet call me, and you guessed it.............no call. I was one if their first customers when they opened in Carolina forrest, before they expanded their offices but they obviously don't need my business now. Well, my dogs can go elsewhere also and I suggest anyone reading this take their pets somewhere where they have compassion .

Here for a month on vacation and my boxer stepped on a nail. They saw us right away, they were kind to me and my dog. It was very obvious they love any animal that walks into their center. i cant speak highly enough of these people.

I will never take my animals to this vet again. Late Friday afternoon, my cat got into a bad cat fight and had 2 bloody back legs and was in severe discomfort I took my cat to Carolina Forest Vet and was told that they were nosy and that They could not examine him before closing at 6:00 p.m. If you love your pet, don't go to this vet!
