Established in 1987 for centennial exposition, the Centennial Park Restoration Committee is responsible for overseeing the restoration and development of a master plan for the park. It is governed by the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County in Tennessee, which operates clerk s office that handles the issuance of burglar and fire alarm permits and administers the lobbyist registration law. Its general services department serves other departments through building maintenance and operation, radio communications, security, postal services, photographic and printing services.
