      The General Jackson(R) is a unique 300-ft paddle wheel showboat that cruises the Cumberland River w/ views of the Nashville skyline. Enjoy live entertainment along with a delicious meal and a cruise that you can't get anywhere else. Holiday shows begin mid-November, and special event cruises are scheduled throughout the year, including Valentine's Day, Fourth of July and New Year's Eve.       good time

      Really had a good time and the food was great too. Only bad thing was that it cost way too much money to go.

      At just over $90. per ticket, I had high expectations; above average entertainment, ( yes), and at least good food. (nope). The salad was family style and fresh. Chicken was not sufficiently cooked. Waiter said "sorry" but realy did not care. Could not really understand him anyway, o ther than his begging for tips. The trip up the river was not good as it was already dark by the time dinner had been served. We suggest you pass on this, except perhaps for the lunch time trip. Pack a pbj.
