I been in car business since 2008 and once David Cardwell cut me my 1st automobile key, it was it.. I haven't used anyone else since... Good solid dude.. and the prices are the lowest in town... What else can you ask from an old school "get thing done type of guy". Houses/Cars/RV's/Safes you name it he does it all. My entire extended family uses him for everything that requires a 🗝️ 🔓
I had the pleasure today of dealing with this awesome company. I had called around everywhere regarding getting a new keyless entry key programmed for my dodge charger and this service was by FAR the best and most affordable way to do so. To the guy upset about price quotes, maybe you should have done your research on these keys before losing your mind about the price. A Cheaper Locksmith was nearly HALF the price of what I would have been charged through a dealership and these keys aren't cheap. Lesson learned on my part not to ever lose one again.
Last week my daughter lost her key to her car. Dave/David came out to fix it and ran into some trouble. He talked to me and walked me through what he needed to do. He was very helpful and went above and beyond what most people would have. Thank you for the great service!!!

Could not be more pleased with the service that we received from A Cheaper Locksmith! Low price for creating a chip key and even came out on a Saturday at no extra charge. I will look no further than A Cheaper Locksmith for any similar needs in the future.
I went to the store location for A Cheaper Locksmith, it's in the shopping center by the Ken Towery's on Shelbyville Rd. / Middletown. The storefront doesn't really have much of a sign, it's right under the State Farm Insurance sign. I needed to get a few spare non-remote keys for my Scion tC and a remote key as well. My one old key was cracking and I didn't want to risk it falling apart. They lady in the office was friendly and I was helped by the owner quickly. I stopped by and asked when I could come back since I just dropped in, but they helped me right away. I live over 75 miles away in Grayson County. The pricing was amazing, and everything was quick and handled professionally. I'm very picky (see other reviews by me) and I truly believe they earn five stars. Fast, Fair, and Friendly! This is the only place I'll go now and would recommend you save yourself some cash and get better service than any dealership and come here.
Great service... I was warming up my car getting ready for work and accidentally locked my keys in the car, so I called a few locksmith and they all seem to thrive on emergency situations charging unreasonable prices except for A Cheaper Locksmith the price they charged me was at least 20% cheaper service was exceptional and they arrived in less than 30 min like they promised. Highly recommend them
They quoted me a price of 67 dollars for a new car key. When I gave the guy from a cheaper locksmith my credit card her charged me $125. Absolute Fraud! Never ever use Acheaperlocksmith.com
It is unfortunate and frustrating that our customer chose the reaction to his transaction with us to make false accusations and half truths in an attempt to degrade our perfect 3 year reputation and reviews as well as a BBB a+ rating. It was his own mistake that we believe led to his dissatisfaction. He called us and found us to be the most cost effective solution to his losing a car key. After we produced a perfect working computer chip key, he surprised us with trying to use his AAA roadside $100 discount which we are not AAA contracted to accept. It was then he threatened the bad reviews if AAA did not reimburse him from our invoice. Within ten minutes of us leaving he began the character assault on our internet advertising and way before he ever got the answer from AAA. We would like to be contracted with AAA as we could save you 30-50% of any out of pocket expense after using your discount but unfortunately we were not made aware of this customer's affiliation until after we were done.
tonite I met Dave with a cheaper locksith..I am so impressed with this company!he really went out of his way to help me and he really cares about people..you dont find many people in this day and age who care about helping people but these guys are #1 in my book..thanks Dave !!!you got me out of a major bind!!
I lost the key for my Neon and needed a key urgently. Car was parked in a pay lot and other locksmiths had told me they'd get to me, "When someone gets around to it."
I called about my key and was informed of a great price for the key, hundreds cheaper than other places had quoted me. On the phone I was asked what sort of key I had and they actually listened, other locksmiths simply forced on me that I had a chipped key even when I told them it was regular.
Was quoted on a time for the tech to come out and when I called to verify, the tech called me back and informed me he was on his way and would be there shortly.
Technician came out and actually arrived BEFORE I was there. He had even gone so far as to start the paperwork for the transaction, which was great. He asked for proof of my insurance and I provided it. After a short verification, about 3 minutes, he gave me my key and tested it in my car. First in the doors, then in the ignition.
Service was amazing, whole staff was very personable and informative. Price was great, so much cheaper than anywhere else and the time it took the tech to get out was simply amazing.
All in all from start to finish a great experience, highly suggest that if you have any key issues you give them a call.
I took a chance on calling to get my door locks changed. I wanted to have this done but I was worried about the price. I have never hired a locksmith but now i have one that is trusty AND affordable. He was very informative, and seemed to care about my situation. I will never "shop around" for my next dilemma. Thank you for being an honest company, looking out for our community.
We actually got recommend to them by another locksmith. We now know why....excellent service ...friendly ....quick ...and did for at least a third of what everybody else said it would cost us. Highly Recommended!!!

I recently had the locks changed on my home and was in need of a locksmith. This company was the first place I contacted and was sold before I hung up the phone. They were very courteous, and offered to come the same day that I called! I work during the day and they said they could come in the evening to better suit my work hours. Then the best thing of all was the low price they quoted! I knew I was not going to get a better price anywhere else, and didn't even bother to call anyone other places. They showed up on time, and had all three of my locks changed on my home in less than an hour. I would recommend this company to anyone I know, and will absolutely use them in the future! Thanks for the great service!!
