Not the best place to train or shoot. Dominion seems to operate by their own set of rules. They allow their employees and their customers to smoke in the store front which leads to the appearance of a dirty feel and smell. Yes there are a few thugs that come in who appear to be packing for the next drive by. I too took the class this year and seemed like the only person who had never fired a gun. Most of the other participants seemed like they had already knocked over a few 7-11's.

2 months on a waiting list, small cramped classroom... Oh and the shooting range was dirty and half the stuff didn't work.Kind of has a ghetto feel. Lots of sketchy people shooting there. I should have looked elsewhere for a concealed carry class. Do your research, people!...J.T. Chesterfield County, VA.

- Dominion Shooting Range has been serving the Richmond and surrounding areas for many years. We have a 19 lane 25 yd. facility. We allow shotguns of any gauge. We have an extensive collection of firearms for rent as well. If you are just getting involved in shooting sports or are interested in purchasing a new firearm come on in and give it a try on the range first before you make the investment to buy. We also have training programs as well through Dominion Training Academy: Day and night classes are available: We do everything from basic weapons safety courses and concealed carry certifications, to more advanced tactical training. We also have items available for purchase. We Sell: Handguns, rifles, shotguns, as well as knives, ammunition, batons, pepper sprays, and we have one of the least expensive prices on ammunition in Richmond.

Individuals partaking in Defensive Pistol scenarios are required to utilize practical handguns, holsters, and personal defense ammunition. No "Competitive only" equipment is allowed! The ability of the individual and not the equipment is the premise behind this style of shooting.
