Expert Technical Service - Traditional Craftsmanship

General Info
We offer expert technical service and traditional craftsmanship. Our world-class technicians will personally prepare and customize each piano, key by key, note by note, the old-fashioned way. Did you know that there are over 10,000 parts in one piano? One piano can include a variety of materials such as wood, wool, metal, felt, plastic, leather and even silk. To produce sound, each part has its own function. Many of these parts need replacing and/or fixing after years of usage. Hammers receive the brunt of the punishment. After years of striking the strings, they become harder, grooved and worn. We carefully inspect the hammers to see if they can be re-shaped and voiced, but sometimes a new set of hammers is needed in order to produce a proper sound. One of the most neglected repairs is undoubtedly changing the silk cords on flanges. The technician glues an inch of silk on a piece of wood the size of a fingertip and there are 88 of them. This process takes a quite a bit of time and patience. However, with these parts there are no shortcuts--it just has to be done. Our aim is to restore these pianos to the absolute best they can be. Our pianos never leave without our approval and are absolutely guaranteed. We strive to offer pianos which will give you the best value for your money.
