I would highly recommend NOT using this company they are overcharging for services and are very rude. We had to use their towing services and when the guy showed up on site to tow the vehicle he wanted us to pay him $160 upfront. We said we would pay him once the service was rendered. The distance the car needed to be towed was 1.5 miles, and when he delivered the vehicle I asked for a breakdown of the cost on paper that showed their fees, and the guy couldn't provide me with a breakdown of cost-instead he told me they charge $130 to show up on site, and $4 per mile. Therefore, if that's true, we should have only been charged $138. They guy proceeded to argue with me and said he would lower his price to $140. This company seems to be price gouging especially since you can find towing estimates from other towing companies and the cost of a tow that's less than 5 miles is an average of $75. This company also seems to be making up prices as they go, which is no way to run a business.

I then tried to call the company on the phone number they provide on site to see if I could speak to someone else to get a blank estimate on a towing service. When I gave the info to get an estimate the guy raised his voice and said he was the person that just did this tow, and proceeded to curse at me and tell me to shut up multiple times.

Very unprofessional, PLEASE be aware of price scamming if you use this company. I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau.

I discovered Lyman's back in 1979 when looking to do what I thought would be a major repair on my car. After they checked it out, it turned out to be not so major and cost considerably less than I was expecting. I have done business with them since. They are very knowledgeable and have always done excellent work at a reasonable price.

Would recommend to anyone.
