A couple of days ago I got a follow up call from John just to ensure I was totally happy with my purchase. My initial apprehension was paying many $$$ for a product "sight unseen" off a web site. My contractor tried to talk me into a steel or fiberglass door that had the look of wood. Guess what? Those in the style I wanted were over $1000 more!!! He even stated that for custom homes, like mine, mahogany was the way to go...but too expensive. He could not believe his eyes when he saw the crate arrive and looked at the door. I have never had a worse experience with a vendor. I've built many custom homes and this company gave me the run around like no other company. Trust me if you have an issue with their product and you get treated like I did, it will be months of battling. I believe their policy is to drag it out until you give up. Do yourself a favor and stear clear. I think they have a few different websites with different names. If you are purchasing doors from Crown Pointe Indiana, I would be very sure it's not Nicks Building Supply,

I purchased 2 natural wood garage doors for 4k. When the arrived they doors were damaged. I called Nicks and they blamed me for the damage!!! They refused to take them back. I hired a contractor to try and fix the doors, he told me not only were they damaged but they are two different wood grains! So when you seal them one will be darker then the other. I called Nicks again and they said I would have to stain the lighter door to match the darker one. I asked to return the doors again and they refused. Bad company!!! Needless to say I'm stuck with damaged mismatched doors that I paid $4,000 for.
