For years I boarded my dogs at kennels when I went out of town, but never again. There is a wonderful pet sitting service called Peace of Mind Pet Sitting that convinced me that in-home pet sitting is much better for my pets and more convenient for me! My dogs got 3 walks a day which they dont even get when I am home so they were spoiled rotten. Normally after they get home from the kennel, they are high strung and often have diarrhea. When I got home after a week long trip the dogs were relaxed and happy to see me as if I had just returned from a day of work. While I was away I called the pet sitter twice and was always given lots of details about them that let me know she was very attentive to their needs and personalities. The other convenient part is I did not have to worry about the kennel pick-up and drop-off times which made it much easier on my travel schedule. Would highly recommend this service as it cant be beat for peace of mind, pricing, and convenience!

Fantastic people and a fantastic service! This is so much better than a kennel! The sitters truly love animals and they give the pets plenty of love and attention. They can handle everything from an extended vacation to an emergency potty break due to heavy traffic on I-95. You get to meet the owner and staff before they care for your pet. We've used them many times and will continue to use them whenever we need someone to care for our pets!!

We wouldn't trust family more than we trust Karen, Mike, Donna and the rest of the sitters that Karen employees. There is nobody in this world who could be more loving and capable with our Golden Retriever Rusty and better care could never have been given to his late brother and litter mate Nugget. There is no way to rate them as high as they deserve and we're sorry we didn't find them when our guys were young puppies!!!

I don't know why I ever boarded my cats because they always came home stressed out. I wish I had known about in-home pet care years ago because it is a terrific option and more affordable than boarding at my vet. I would high recommend this service as it is very obvious they truly care about the pets in their care.

What a fantastic service! I had to go out of town and didn't know anyone locally to take care of my 2 dogs who are like my children. I got to meet with the owner of the service and the pet sitter so I felt very comfortable with them. While I was out of town I had my pet sitters cell phone number so I could check on my furry babies. I came home to find my place very clean and the dogs were relaxed and happy. I definitely had "peace of mind" for the entire experience.
