Business History

Tropic Aire was founded in 1959 by Lester Jones as a home heating Oil Jobber and Heating Contractor. Through the continued search for excellence with the Second and now Third generation of the Jones Family, our company has progressed into a full line HVAC contracting firm, providing the most modern technologies available to the residential and commercial customer. As a family owned medium sized contractor we are large enough to service your needs, but small enough to provide the personal service lost in today’s fast paced business world. Let us provide your family or business with the same personal touch that we expect. From multi-million dollar historic structures, commercial design showrooms of over 20,000 sq. Ft, high end custom homes, convenience stores, restaurants, churches, family life buildings, strip mall build-outs, rehabs, remodels, modular homes or anything that requires conditioned air.
