My mom brought her dog who wasn't eating and wasted 2 days here. Their x-ray machine was broken and they don't have a sonogram machine. Animal hospital - ha! They don't even have the necessary tools to diagnose your pet. My mom also had to put down our other dog in March. I don't believe he received proper care here. Thankfully my mom brought our dog to the Waterville Veterinary Clinic where they found he had swallowed a plastic bag, and they performed surgery to remove it from his stomach, intestines and bowels. If it wasn't for the kind and competent doctor's there our dog probably wouldn't be alive. The doctor from Burrstone did call to follow up with my mom and suggested she buy a sonogram machine for the office. Even if she was half joking it wasn't the time or place. Don't waste your time or money here.

I started started not feeling well at 11:25 a.m on a Saturday with closing hours at noon. I was walking around shaking my head and scratching at my ear. I did't feel like eating or drinking. I did not even want to go outside with my mom at 5:30 a.m. like I usually do. I just wanted to sleep. I went to the animal hospital so I could feel better. They were nice and I know I will feel better soon! THANK YOU-Liam and his owner.

what a great place!

My parents brought my dog here as a child and when I adopted a dog as an adult, I brought her here as well. Our dog almost died at 2 yrs of age, but thanks to the wonderful doctors and staff, they brought her back. She was diagnosed with Addison's disease. She was to have a short life, but instead they taught us how to care for her and give her the necessary daily meds. She lived a long and very happy life thanks to this office!!! She is now gone, but I would not hesitate to take another pup to them when the time comes.

Do not go to Burrstone Animal Hospital

I recently brought my cat to this hospital for a neuter procedure. The vet, whom was rude to me, explained I know nothing about cats. After all of his doctor BS I listened to.. he urged me to get my cat declawed. When I told him that it is inhumane he jumped down my throat giving me the reasons why it is a good thing. All in all, I decided to have my cat declawed which was Against my better judgement! I went home that night and did some of my own research. The vet somehow forgot to inform me that it is amputation of the first joint in their fingers, that the pain is so unbearable that cats go crazy in their cages when they wake up from surgery, that cats need their fingers to help them maintain balance and without them it can lead to spinal misalignments..

Anyways, I do not even like the job he did on my cats declawing procedure. One of his little fingers looks like it was cut the wrong way and my cat continuously licks that same spot.

Would I ever get my cat declawed again? Absolutely NOT. Would I ever go to Burrstone Animal hospital again? Absolutely NOT!

The Vet is money hungry and does not even listen to what the customer has to say, and I do not think he is very caring of the pets either.
