General Info
It all began in August 1981 at 140 Park St. when Scarpellino''s Sub Shop first opened it's doors. After 9 years the building was sold and we moved to 204 College St. after extensive renovations. The next 17 years were awesome until 2007 and that building was sold and we were forced to close our doors. Now 4 years later we are back in action at 257 Forbes Street in New Haven! Along with my beautiful wife Luann, we will be serving all the great food you remember over the past 27 years at the new Scarpellino's Restaurant and Catering. Our new location is better and better; enjoy our dining room with all my favorite Sinatra memorabilia and of course, Sinatra music playing all day long. Finally our dream has become a reality. The eggplant parm is SOOO much better at Ferrucci`s Italian Deli on Wooster street. If I recall correctly, the owner of this deli USED to work at Ferrucci`s... I wonder what happened.
This little place on Forbes ave in new haven Scarpellinos Good food nice atmosphere good people they deserve ten stars. Going to have my Xmas party here
love this place they have amazing food....I'm there everyday for breakfest and lunch it gets better everytime I try something new definitely give it a try u won't regret it... keep up the good work Danny and luann
Omg we are so glad you guys are back. We have missed you so much. Thank you for the eggplant parm it is still the best in town. I remember when Dan worked at some place on Wooster St and thought I hope he opens Scarps again cuz that place was so dirty glad you made the move. That sandwich called
The Joe Mortali bomb is amazing and the Mike Mercuriano is off the hook. We have been in many times already and are telling everyone that Scarp's is back. We love your beautiful place and espically the Sinatra music and of course your gorgeous wife. You are back where you belong. Tony G.
