Established in 1968, Art Resource is located in New York City. Art Resource is a library that features a range of fine arts material. It offers various products that include paintings, sculptures and artifacts. It provides art work related to a variety of topics, such as agriculture, animals, allegories, psychology, religion, sports, water and weapons. The library houses art pieces from various museums and monuments, including Pushkin Museum, Sistine Chapel and the Egyptian Museum of Cairo. Art Resource offers products for posters, calendars, books, advertisements and greeting cards. In addition, it functions as an official rights and permissions representative for the Smithsonian American Art Museum and the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts. Art Resource also represents a range of European archives of art and architecture, including the Erich Lessing Culture and Fine Arts Archive of Vienna and the Werner Forman Archive of London.
