I have never experienced poor customer service from this bakery but I don't frequent it that often (2 reasons: my waistline and it is out of my way). Even if I did, I take inspiration from Brooke Shields on this one: nothing comes between me and my cake.



Let's get one thing straight, okay? You want the most delicious chocolate cake you've ever had in your life? You come here. End of story.



The carrot muffins, the coffee...everything about it is perfect. Calories? They don't count above 145th Street anyway.



I've driven down from Westchester just to get a fix. I've doubled parked in front of police officers to get that sugar rush. I missed spinning classes to get in before they close. I've run across Broadway, nearly losing my shoe and my life.



So, yes, it is worth it.
