General Info
Welcome to Pentucket Medical! For over forty years Pentucket Medical has been providing extraordinary health care to the residents of the Merrimack Valley. With the latest in diagnostics, technology, and research, we proudly offer unparalleled acute, chronic, and wellness care to our patients. Our primary care and specialty teams include over 300 dedicated physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and clinical and administrative support staff. There are three service components of any great health care organization: medical skills, customer service, and technology. Pentucket Medical's physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants are not only great clinicians but also highly respected by their peers as leaders in their respective specialties. In addition, as a part of the Partners HealthCare System, the parent organization of the Massachusetts General and Brigham and Women's Hospitals, our patients have access to two world renowned medical facilities when that level of care is required. The second key service component is a dedication to customer service. For the past 18 months Pentucket Medical has embarked on a major campaign internally to ensure that the entire staff is committed and trained to provide our customers with great service. Yes, CUSTOMER service. We realize that you are our not only our patient, but you are also our customer. That's why Pentucket has spent the past year identifying and improving our customer service in a wide range of areas: reception, waiting, follow-up, appointments, and communication. We feel strongly that you deserve the same level of extraordinary service you find in other leading service industries. In recent years, we have invested heavily in technology, including the Electronic Medical Record (EMR). The EMR has revolutionized the way we practice medicine, by ensuring that all your clinical information is captured, stored, and available to your care team any time, any place. If you are a current patient, we thank you for entrusting Pentucket Medical as your source of health care service. If you are exploring your medical care options, we invite you to learn more about Pentucket Medical today. I am always available to provide whatever help I can to help you make an informed choice for medical care.

Provided by YPmobileAside from their snobby attitudes in the office, this place is very unprofessional. If you ask for a Dr.s Note they won't give you one. They are crooks make you make unnecessary appointments just so they can get paid! STAY AWAY!!!!!

Provided by YP.comFirst, be aware that none of the Internists are in the Blue Cross Medicare Plans -- so if that's a requirement for your co-pay--you'll have to go elsewhere. I was lied to by the CEO--he told me the doctors picked the plans -- I asked my doctor and he had no idea of what plans PMA accepted--it's all about $$$--they can get more money via co-pay if they are not "in the network," Secondly, check your bills if you have an account. I was told there was no co-pay for a physical last year--not only were they wrong--I got a bill for $192-- and after one office visit this year-- had a charge of $122 -- I checked with Blue Cross and they fixed it in 3 minutes -- and OOPS--PMA made a billing error, I was told when I called, and finally, I had to see a specialist (my doc tried to talk me into going to their facility in Haverhill--I declined and chose the AJ) so they set me up with another doctor and he needed my records from Lahey Clinic--which I got to pay $54 for ($18.and change for "clerical" and ,.61 a page). A copy was sent to me and one to PMA who were to send it to the specialist--I even called to tell them they had to get them to the specialist--I was not surprised to find they did not. So, if you like your doctor, go to PMA, but bear in mind the CEO, Sarro, will lie to you and not get back to you, check your bills and always get a copy of any records you might need -- as they don't bother to forward them.
