Venture Construction Company was founded in 1969 and specializes in restaurant and drug store construction and remodeling. It completed 560 contracts last year with 90 to 125 jobs under construction at all times. The company maintains a general contractor s license in 46 states and construction projects have been completed in 37 states. The work is coordinated through six branch offices by 38 project managers, 119 job superintendents and 15 area supervisors, with corporate offices in Atlanta. Projects include Applebee's International, Bank of America, Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, Exxon Mobil Corporation, Kodak, Fazoli's Management, IHOP, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, McDonald s, National Bank of Commerce, Outback Steakhouse, Pier 1 Imports, Quik Trip Corporation, Ruby Tuesday, Starbucks Corporation, The Melting Pot Restaurants, Waffle House and Walgreen.
