Terrific place...Debbie did a great job on my Cocker Spaniel.. I used to go to Canine Couture on Bedford Ave. and the groomer left,plus I had 2 unpleasant experiences there. I then returned to Dirty Dawg after leaving but I'm back and extremy happy. My dog looks like hes ready for a show and there was not a hair missed on his cut and he smells good and looks gorgeus. The price was also $15.00 less and he was groomed and ready to be picked up in 3 hurs. Signed a HAPPY CUSTOMER... Great Job Debbie.

Looking for a dog groomer that makes you and your dog welcomed and comfortable, not to mention they are patient, affordable, and answers all your questions. Dirty Dawg is the answer to my dog's grooming needs. Today was my dogs first time at Dirty Dawg and he came out looking amazing. We finally found a dog groomer we can trust. Debbie and her staff should be very proud for the professional business they are running. Thank you!

I have been taking my dog, Jellie, to the Dirty Dawg for sometime now and I am very pleased with the way they groom. Jellie is a Westie, and is very timid and sometimes she shakes. Debby is wonderful with her. she is very patient and kind and she does a great job grooming her (cuttings, nail clippings and cleaning her ears). - Hello! My name is Debra Izzo and I am the owner of The Dirty Dawg located at 1867 Newbridge Road in Bellmore, NY. I would first like to thank those in Bellmore, Merrick, and surrounding areas, who are already my clients; now I would like to introduce myself to those who do not know me. My career started at The Willow Pet Hotel and then proceeded to Dog Grooming by Rachel where I worked for 11 years. Some of you might know me from Rachel's as "the tall blonde", "the barefoot lady", or "the lady that grooms cats". Some have asked why I would open my grooming shop in Nassau County when I live in Suffolk County. For me the answer is simple, after working in Nassau for 11 years why would I open anywhere else? I have developed great friendships with the residents of Nassau County, and their pets. My goal is to have a small shop that is personal and friendly. The Dirty Dawg is a family business dedicated to our clients, our motto is: Any and all breeds are welcome. We offer a customer referral program as well as other saving opportunities.
